To transform our Catskill, N.Y. campus into a truly world class performance facility, this spring we’ll raise our roof 20 feet from its current height.
This adjustment means performers will rehearse in spaces identical in size to the international stages where they’ll premiere their works.
Raising our Roof, the campaign
Fifteen artists we’ve had the pleasure of supporting have interpreted ‘Raising our Roof’ in short the short videos below.
The first two videos, from Annie-B Parson and Ernest Baker, are now live. Check out new videos every week!

Our campus
Opening in 2019, LUMBERYARD’s campus will occupy the same footprint as the historic Dunn Lumberyard that originally operated on the property.
During a visit earlier this fall, Senator Chuck Schumer called the site’s transformation one of the most exciting projects in Greene County.
“Any way that we can spread the wealth. Any way we can help upstate — with jobs and growth — it’s exciting. But this is one of the most exciting projects I have seen,”he said, following his tour of our campus.
He acknowledged LUMBERYARD’s role in helping reestablish Catskill, N.Y. as a destination – for tourists and art enthusiasts alike.
